WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
As a Data Services Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of high-volume operational datasets that support customer reporting and internal business processes.This role focuses on data transcoding, validation, and quality assurance, ensuring that incoming partner data is correctly mapped, formatted, and integrated into internal systems.
You will work with large monthly data files, correlate external product identifiers with internal SKUs, clean and standardize data based on predefined templates, and support reconciliation activities related to e-commerce operations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage repetitive data workflows with high accuracy, and the capability to recognize discrepancies and escalate issues when needed. You will collaborate closely with analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure that data remains clean, structured, and reliable for downstream reporting and operational use.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
• Data Transcoding and SKU Mapping : Correlate and map external partner SKU codes to internal product identifiers, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems.
• Data Cleaning and Standardization : Review incoming datasets, correct formatting inconsistencies, and align data with internal templates before ingestion into reporting systems.
• Data Upload and System Operations : Manage the ingestion of monthly partner files into internal databases and reporting tools, ensuring correct formatting and timely processing.
• Data Quality Assurance: Validate incoming and processed datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability for customer-facing reporting.
• Error Identification and Resolution: Identify anomalies, discrepancies, or inconsistencies in partner data and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues when necessary.
• Data Reconciliation Support: Assist with e-commerce reconciliation workflows by matching transaction data, SKUs, and invoice records to ensure accuracy in financial and operational reporting.
• Operational Data Maintenance: Support ongoing efforts to clean and maintain historical datasets, including reviewing large volumes of account-level data and correcting inconsistencies.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data preparation and validation workflows while maintaining accuracy and operational reliability.

YOU HAVE…
• Fluent in written and spoken English at a professional level.3 years experience in data labeling, error analysis, and quality control.
• Approximately 3 years of experience working with operational data, data validation, data preparation, or similar data-focused workflows
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working with large datasets
• Experience reviewing and standardizing structured data files
• Ability to follow defined processes while identifying data discrepancies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets for large data files
• Basic familiarity with SQL or data querying tools
