We’re looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in customer experience (CX) analytics to join our high-impact Revenue and Success Services team. This role focuses on building intelligent alerting systems, improving customer health scores, and bringing deep visibility into user behavior. You'll become the go-to expert on CX data while uncovering insights that prevent churn, flag issues before they escalate, and empower our Account Managers (AMs) and Success Services teams to act swiftly and effectively.
This role offers flexibility and can be based in Budapest with a hybrid schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Master score distribution analysis and deep-dive into transaction data, logs, and product databases to uncover meaningful behavioral patterns and surface strategic, actionable insights.
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that visualize CX trends, volume variances, and engagement health in real time.
• Develop proactive alerting systems that detect anomalies in customer behavior and trigger early mitigation actions.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Success, and Revenue teams to align data insights with business impact.
• Help define and continuously evolve a customer health score that incorporates usage, sentiment, and behavioral signals.
• Partner with data engineers to ensure reliable, clean data pipelines across product analytics tools (ex. Mixpanel, Appcues, etc.), logs, transactional databases, and other key data sources feeding into BI and reporting systems.
• Apply machine learning/statistical techniques to predict churn risk, cohort behavior, and customer lifetime value.
• Drive experimentation and A/B testing to validate new feature adoption and experience improvements.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations.
WHAT YOU’ll BRING:
• 5+ years in a data science or advanced analytics role, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or customer success-driven organizations.
• Expert-level knowledge of Mixpanel, Tableau, and strong experience with Appcues or similar customer engagement tools.
• Hands-on experience building proactive alert systems (e.g., anomaly detection, threshold-based alerts).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data wrangling, modeling, and automation.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data signals to business outcomes and customer value.
• Solid foundation in statistics, segmentation, and behavioral analytics.
• Excellent communication skills to translate data into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
