Data Services - Delivery Manager - Vietnam

In the role of VN Data Services Manager you will build a track record of successfully managing a team of Implementation Consultants, Project Managers within a revenue generating environment. Preferably this will have been gained in a Public Cloud/Data services organization.

• Develop and manage a sustainable, profitable model for the team with targets. • Assisting the sales teams in the consultative sales process, ‘elevating’ the sales pitch with relevant expertise and helping to respond to opportunities (RFP).
• Over 3 years commercial experience of Project Management using a structured Project Management methodology, with proven experience of: planning, scheduling, estimating, organizing, directing, controlling and satisfactorily completing multiple and simultaneous technical projects.
• Very strong contract / project negotiation/ renegotiation skills.
• Keeping informed of and evaluating new and existing market trends - turning them into practical and compelling commercial opportunities.
• Supporting the development of professional services expertise and competencies within each countries organization.
• Liaising with the APJ teams to define solution requirements and implement new go-to-market plans Data services.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of technical, cost and risk implementation of potential solutions
• Excellent communications skills, both orally and in writing.
• Manage the team, milestones, activities and goals.
• Provide regular one-on-ones and quarterly performance reviews for individual team members including hiring and Staff Improvement Planning.
• Resolve issues and contribute to the business unit/area development.
• Meeting and exceeding Services revenue target.
• High utilization & engagement with sales.
• Quality assessment of sold proposals.
• Effectiveness in the field. • 360’ feedback from peer, sales & customers.
• Deal close rate.
• Average deal size/complexity.
• Quality of written reports. Knowledge
•10+years’ experience with Business Intelligence and Data warehousing. •Hands on skills inproject management, architecture, developmentand Design for data analytics applications.
•Good understanding of architecture and design for large scale data warehousing/data lake solutions.
•Experiencein technical lead position in abased data warehouse engagement: Team co-ordination /Technical design / Development / Testing / User Training / Deployment
•Very good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Metadata modeling techniques(star schema snowflake, model federated data sources, SCD, etc.) and the application of each of the schemas in business situations •Demonstrated experience with translating business requirements into data analysis and reporting solutions
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•Candidate must have prior experience coordinating offshore teams and working in the onsite offshore
