The Data Analyst – Embedded (Education) is responsible for managing, analysing, and optimising data across the school’s core information systems, primarily Schoolbox Learning Management System (LMS) and Synergetic Student Information System (SIS).

This role operates as a dedicated onsite resource for a single school, working closely with school leadership, administration staff, and educators to ensure data integrity, reporting capability, and system effectiveness across academic, operational, and compliance functions.

Requirements:
What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain data reports, dashboards, and insights to support school leadership.
• Analyse academic, operational, and engagement data for decision-making.
• Maintain and support Synergetic SIS, including student records, attendance, academic reporting, timetabling, and enrolments.
• Administer and optimise Schoolbox LMS, manage integrations, course data, and reporting workflows.
• Administer Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and develop dashboards.
• Ensure data consistency across SIS, LMS, Power Platform, identity, and reporting systems; troubleshoot integration issues.
• Maintain data quality, governance standards, and documentation of data flows.
• Support staff with best practice data entry and effective system use.
• Collaborate with leadership, academic, administrative, and ICT teams as the school’s data subject matter expert.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate reporting, and reduce manual work.

What you'll bring:

• Experience with Student Information Systems (Synergetic preferred) and Learning Management Systems (Schoolbox preferred).
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development skills (Power BI, Crystal Reports, Excel).
• SQL or data query experience (desirable).
• Ability to generate actionable insights supporting student learning outcomes.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Focus on process improvement and workflow optimisation.
