What are we looking for?

We’re seeking a motivated Data Security Content Developer to join our data science team. In this role, you’ll focus on essential tasks that help keep our platform secure and effective. You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring that sensitive information is correctly classified and managed. This position offers a unique chance to learn about data security, support our team’s technical efforts, and contribute directly to the field of AI security.

What will you do?

• Classify and Tag Content: Identify and categorize different types of data within our platform to ensure sensitive information is appropriately managed and protected.

• Write Regular Expressions (Regex): Develop regex patterns to detect specific types of sensitive information in content and data flows.

• Data Validation and Quality Control: Regularly audit and validate data classifications and patterns to improve accuracy and system performance.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers: Work closely with the team to support data-related tasks and ensure seamless integration of your classifications and regex into larger systems.

• Monitor System Performance: Assist in identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting issues with classification accuracy and sensitivity detection.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?

• Interest in Data Classification and Data Security: Strong interest in organizing data effectively and ensuring its secure handling.

• Familiarity with Regular Expressions (Regex): Basic knowledge of regex for data search and matching; willingness to learn and improve.

• Proficiency in Python or another programming language: Ability to write scripts, work with an API facing service and bring automation.

• Detail-Oriented and Methodical: Careful approach to data work, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

• Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively.

• Basic Knowledge of Data Privacy and Security: Awareness of data privacy practices and a willingness to learn more in this area.

• Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: Ready to take on new tasks, adapt, and grow within a dynamic environment.
