Data Scientist (with Computer Vision experience)

Join us as an experienced Senior Computer Vision Data Scientist! 

We are looking for a talented Senior Computer Vision Data Scientist to join our Data team and help our organisation and our clients with innovative image analysis solutions. 

Your future tasks:   

Lead the design and development of advanced Computer Vision systems specifically tailored to the insurance industry 

Develop and deploy image analysis models for key insurance use-cases: property insurance, health insurance, auto insurance 

Participate in generative AI and Vision-Language Model (VLM) research and development (R&D) initiatives 

Apply advanced technologies to specific projects, including behavioral analytics, image processing, OCR, NLP, and Deep Learning algorithms  

Collaboration with internal and external customers, IT service providers and other subcontractors 

Develop metrics and analytics dashboards to monitor model performance, data drift, and business impact 

Design and preparation of data cleansing and organisation from different sources for statistical analysis  

What we expect from You:    

Motivation, enthusiasm to take on new projects and eagerness to develop yourself professionally 

Ability to clearly communicate about the project, even to non-technical audiences 

At least 5+ years of experience in Python development 

At least 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and specifically Deep Learning applied to Computer Vision (e.g., CNNs, Vision Transformers, OpenCV) 

Knowledge of predictive algorithms, statistics-based descriptive metrics  

Knowledge and use of various SQL systems  

Proficiency in Hungarian, as this is the language of our internal communication 

Intermediate level English, as we have international clients as well 

It’s a big plus if You have: 

Familiarity with MLOps practices, especially for large-scale image datasets 

Familiarity with LLM/VLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face)
