Your mission

Purpose of the role

We are looking for a data scientist to join our professional services team. You will be working with customers across multiple sectors; applying data science, machine learning and AI to overcome real life commercial problems and generate measurable value.

What you'll do at UiPath

The role is multi-faceted, and involves working closely with our customers, our product and sales teams, as well as other data scientists and engineers. You will be responsible for building solutions for our customers and ensuring that they love using Peak.

● You will work with our customers to understand their business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● You will deploy, configure and integrate our inventory and pricing products, making sure they work for our customers and generate value.

● You will design, develop, and implement predictive models, including demand forecasting, price elasticity analysis, and inventory optimization algorithms to supplement our products and add extra value for our customers.

● You will analyze data and generate insights to help our customers understand their business better, to understand the value of our products, and to position upsells for future work.

● This position requires a high degree of independence and responsibility and there is considerable opportunity to expand the role as Peak grows.

You must be enthusiastic about the discipline, excited by novel applications that these techniques offer, and have the ability to communicate your understanding and findings clearly to experts in other disciplines. What you'll bring to the team

We are looking for:

● Experience in one or some of - statistical modelling, machine learning, AI, data science, forecasting, optimization.

● Programming skills/concepts and the ability to pick up new technology with ease. Prior experience in R, Python and/or other statistical tools/languages are a plus.

● Familiarity with relational databases and intermediate level knowledge of SQL are a big bonus as you’ll be working with different datasets.

● Sound understanding of a wide range of statistical techniques.

● The ability to understand and present findings to a non-technical audience. Prior experience in data visualization and/or deriving insight from a wide variety of data sources is a plus.
