Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our Data Science & Machine Learning Operations team (part of the Enterprise ML Platform and Operations department).

We are a full-cycle team that designs and builds AI/ML-powered product prototypes, brings them into live production, and continuously maintains, monitors, and enhances them.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with other Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Backend Engineers, and DevOps Engineers, while regularly communicating with internal business stakeholders. You will report to the Manager of Data Science & Machine Learning Operations.

Your work will have an impact on players of Wargaming’s flagship titles, including World of Tanks and World of Warships, as well as empower internal teams by enhancing their tools and processes.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and enhance AI/ML models and model training pipelines by analyzing large volumes of (primarily internal) data and engineering powerful features from it.

• Partner with stakeholders across Game Product Groups, Live Operations teams, and other departments to understand business needs and deliver actionable, model-driven insights and solutions.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of AI/ML-powered services and products, and participate in their end-to-end implementation and operation.

• Occasionally develop lightweight, interactive, model-backed web applications (e.g., dashboards or internal tools) to enable business users to leverage model predictions effectively.

What are we looking for?

You are a passionate Data Scientist with experience building models that power real-world AI/ML solutions. You take pride in seeing your work deployed to production and are motivated to go beyond notebook prototypes to deliver scalable, reliable systems.

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or research-focused ML Engineer.

• Proven track record of applying data science techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems

• Experience building end-to-end model training and feature engineering pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in Python and the broader data/AI/ML ecosystem.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets, both structured and unstructured.

• Solid understanding of data and model lifecycles, including the lifecycle of deployed AI/ML solutions.

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or another quantitative field.

• Experience with deep learning techniques for image processing and generation.

• Experience with time series analysis and forecasting.

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP).

• Familiarity with the Snowflake ecosystem (as both a data warehouse and AI/ML platform).

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

• Experience with Python-based visualization frameworks (e.g., Dash, Streamlit).

• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS (e.g., SageMaker, EC2, Fargate, ECS)

• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
