Data Scientist (m/w/d) (Analytics & Dashboarding) in Consulting

Beschreibung:
As a Data Scientist (m/f/d) – Analytics & Dashboards, you will take full-stack responsibility for the entire data value creation process – from retrieving data from the data lake to designing and implementing interactive management dashboards.

Your tasks:
• You analyze complex and heterogeneous data structures, document and harmonize sources, and merge them efficiently.
• Together with your team, you build and operate scalable data pipelines between cloud sources and dashboard tools – including automation, quality assurance, and performance tuning (mainly via SQL).
• You design intuitive dashboards with a strong focus on usability and storytelling, and implement them using tools such as AWS QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• You conduct ad-hoc analyses and prototypes and present results clearly, concisely, and appropriately for the target audience.
• You take on leadership responsibilities, structure your team, plan sprints, and ensure quality through reviews and approvals.
• As a technical sparring partner, you support project management in questions of architecture, risk assessment, and prioritization, while actively driving innovative initiatives forward.
• In close collaboration with business units, IT, data engineers, and management, you contribute your expertise and serve as a reliable point of contact.

Requirements:
• You are highly proficient in SQL (including queries, joins, window functions, and performance optimization).
• You have experience in building cloud-to-dashboard pipelines as well as in data preparation and restructuring.
• Dashboarding is your strength – you bring expertise in UX design, interactivity, and readability, and are confident with AWS QuickSight, Power BI, and ideally Tableau.
• You think concepts through to the end, deliver reliable results even under pressure, and work with a high level of precision.
• Ideally, you are familiar with processes in the automotive industry, particularly development, production, defect/change, and launch management processes.
• Your willingness to travel enables you to support our client in Munich as a key contact person.
