About the Role
Our primary focus is to empower our supply chain and logistics domains. As a Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in driving data-informed decisions; leveraging machine learning and optimization to refine inventory management, streamline fulfillment processes, and provide customers with precise delivery predictions.

Responsibilities:
• Working in a data driven culture and work to create advocates
• Work on exploratory data analysis so that you can navigate a dataset and come out with broad conclusions based on initial appraisals
• Proven ability to relate and solve business problems through machine/deep learning, optimization, simulation, and statistics
• Work in a highly dynamic environment where you see the result of your actions on the business/operation
• Improve the operational excellence of the fulfillment and delivery teams one step at a time
• Designs, prioritizes, and manages complex experiments through A/B tests and simulations
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
• Challenges existing product assumptions and converts learnings into clear, actionable product decisions
• Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact
• Conduct projects end-to-end from early stage research through development, in consultation with stakeholders

Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor's, Master's Degree or Ph.D. preferably in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics
• 2-5 years of proven experience in a variety of machine learning modeling techniques (classification, regression, learning to rank algorithms, clustering, gradient boosting, deep learning etc.)
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience with optimization models, heuristics, meta-heuristics
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the programming languages (python, C#, java).
• Proficiency in SQL is required. ML pipeline design experience is essential.
• Develop and implement algorithms/heuristics to apply to real-life problems using programming languages
• Familiar with simulation techniques such as discrete event simulation, real-time simulation, etc.
• Having a curious mind and love to ask (and answer) "impossible" questions
• Background in data mining and statistical analysis expressing data-driven thinking skill
• Experience with delivery services, operations, supply chain, and/or e-commerce is a big plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
