We are seeking Data Science Professionals to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

At Blend, we are constantly looking to connect with talented professionals in the Data Science field. We have an active and ongoing pipeline of opportunities across various domains, including:

• MLOps & Data Engineering – building robust data pipelines, deploying models, and ensuring scalability.

• Analytical & Business-Focused Data Science – designing models, conducting advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights.

• Generative AI & Applied AI – developing innovative AI solutions and integrating LLM-based approaches into business workflows.

We consider candidates of vary seniority levels — mostly from senior to seasoned experts leading large-scale projects at a Manager or Senior Manager levels. Our goal is to understand your strengths and explore how you can be a great match for our diverse range of roles.

You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office in Montevideo, Uruguay or Bogotá, Colombia.

 

In this role, you may:

• Work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and deploy data-driven models and solutions.

• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines and model workflows.

• Perform statistical analyses, create dashboards, and communicate results effectively.

• Contribute to the development of AI-based solutions.

• Ensure code quality, reproducibility, and scalability in production environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related), or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have skills for different roles:

• Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to Generative AI tools and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, LLM fine-tuning).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

• Experience with big data frameworks (PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake).

How much experience must I have?
