Role Overview:
The Data Scanning Administrator supports the secure and efficient management of clinical documentation by locating patient charts, scanning relevant information, and uploading records to internal systems. The role also involves handling internal and external phone and email queries, liaising with consultants when required, and working collaboratively as part of an administrative team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong computer and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, while remaining flexible to support additional administrative duties as requested by management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Locating charts and scanning relevant information
• Uploading securely to in-house systems
• Managing internal and external phone and email queries
• Dealing with consultants as need arises
• Working as part of a team
• Dealing with ad-hoc duties as they arise or requested by management
Requirements and Skills:
• Previous experience in an office environment a distinct advantage
• Excellent computer skills and phone manner
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• The ideal candidate should have a can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and be very reliable
• Willing to take on additional duties as required

This role is a part-time, on-site in Galway University Hospital, 28 hours per week
