Data Researcher

With Intelligence (now part of S&P Global) are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Researcher to join our growing team in Cardiff. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and collecting critical data related to institutional investors, fund managers, and associated funds. You’ll work closely with a talented team dedicated to excellence in data sourcing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform extensive web-based research to gather relevant information on investment firms and the asset management industry.
• Verify and validate information to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Maintain relationships with industry contacts to enhance data collection efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to manage and update databases of research findings.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives related to data improvement and innovation.

Requirements:
• Strong analytical and research skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A previous experience in a research role or knowledge of the asset management industry is a plus.
