Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise reporting solutions within the Wholesale Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Wealth Management, and Business Banking, combined with deep expertise in Qlik and modern data platforms. This role will be responsible for designing scalable data models, developing executive-level dashboards, and driving reporting strategy across business units.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Define and implement end-to-end reporting architecture for Wholesale Banking.
• Design scalable data models and reporting frameworks using Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView).
• Establish data governance, data quality, and metadata management standards.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to align reporting platforms with data strategy.
• Design integration frameworks across core banking, trade systems, and transaction platforms.

Development & Delivery

• Develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Qlik.
• Optimize Qlik applications for performance and scalability.
• Build reusable data models and standardized KPI layers.
• Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
• Implement best practices for security, access control, and row-level security.

Domain Engagement

• Translate business requirements from Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Wealth, and Business Banking teams into reporting solutions.
• Develop KPI frameworks for revenue, risk, client profitability, trade lifecycle, liquidity, and operational metrics.
• Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams.
• Present insights and dashboards to senior management.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce reporting standards.

Requirements:
Technical Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Qlik (Qlik Sense/QlikView).
• Strong expertise in data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).
• Experience with DataSpace / enterprise data platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization in Qlik.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms is an advantage.

Domain Experience

• Strong experience in Wholesale Banking, including:
• Trade Finance
• Transaction Banking
• Business Banking
• Wealth Management

• Experience in regulatory and management reporting within banking.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead architecture
