SOCOTEC Vietnam is a technical support platform for the SOCOTEC Group providing expert services on a range of projects in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Around the globe, more than 15,000 experts in 26 countries across 5 continents deliver professional services in construction, buildings & real estate, infrastructures, environment & safety and certification.
We are currently expanding our IT&SOFTWAR SERVICES and are looking for a Data Protection Officer to join our growing team and help deliver high quality projects to our clients.
Data Quality Management
•     Perform individual and bulk data corrections across reference data repositories (customer / supplier accounts and contacts, internal organizational structures …)
•     Monitor data quality metrics and identify anomalies or inconsistencies
•     Implement data validation rules and quality controls, which involves being accountable for the validation of some client account data creations or updates.
•     Ensure compliance with data governance standards and policies
Analysis & Problem-Solving
•     Conduct in-depth analysis of data quality issues using Excel and other analytical tools
•     Identify root causes of data quality problems and recommend sustainable solutions
•     Develop data quality reports and dashboards for management review
•     Track and document data quality improvements over time
Stakeholder Collaboration
•    Act as the primary point of contact for reference data quality matters
•     Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and data owners to resolve data issues
•     Facilitate workshops and meetings to define data quality requirements
•     Provide guidance and training to end-users on data entry best practices
Data Governance
•     Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance standards and policies
• Participate in data governance committees and working groups
• Support the establishment of data quality frameworks and best practices
• Ensure alignment between operational activities and governance requirements
Continuous Improvement
• Proactively propose enhancements to data management processes and procedures
• Participate in data governance initiatives and working groups
• Contribute to the development of data quality frameworks and methodologies
• Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in data management
 
 
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data management, data quality, or similar role
• Proven experience working with reference/master data in enterprise systems
Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis functions)
• Strong understanding of data quality concepts and methodologies
• Familiarity with master data management (MDM) principles
• Experience with data profiling and cleansing tools (desirable)
• Basic SQL knowledge (advantageous)
Language Requirements
• Fluency in French is mandatory
• English proficiency is highly desirable
