About the Role

We are hiring a Data Product Manager – FinOps to plan and execute on FinOps initiatives, partnering closely with Finance, Engineering and Commercial. This role focuses on stakeholder analysis, requirements definition, feature delivery, and dashboard execution for FinOps tools and reporting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with cloud cost data, metrics, and dashboards, and is comfortable translating business and operational needs into clear, actionable product requirements.

What you'll do:

Stakeholder Analysis & Requirements Definition

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Cloud Operations to understand cost drivers and reporting needs.

• Gather, document, and prioritize requirements for FinOps tools, datasets, and dashboards.

• Translate financial and operational workflows into clear product and data requirements.

FinOps Tools & Dashboard Delivery

• Own delivery of FinOps dashboards and reporting, primarily using Power BI.

• Define KPI logic, calculations, and metric definitions in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Partner with data engineering teams to define data models, transformations, and refresh logic.

Product Execution

• Own feature-level delivery aligned to the leadership-defined roadmap.

• Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Support backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.

Metrics, Data Quality & Governance

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial and cloud cost data.

• Reconcile metrics with Finance and Accounting stakeholders as needed.

• Identify data quality gaps and work with engineering to resolve them.

What you'll need:

• Years of experience in Cloud Operations, FinOps, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, or related roles.

• Hands-on experience working with cloud cost and usage data (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.

• Experience defining and working with metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.

• Experience gathering requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills ( English and Portuguese ).
