Role purpose:
We’re looking for someone who can build strong partnerships across our Investment, Finance, and Data Steward communities—bringing people together to secure buy‑in and drive meaningful improvements across our systems, processes, and technology.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of incident, request, and problem management for the data platform, working closely with third‑party support partners to ensure timely, high‑quality resolution. You’ll be accountable for maintaining service excellence, ensuring all SLAs are consistently met and that issues are handled proactively and professionally.
Key duties:
• Analyse data to identify discrepancies at source.
• Manage and track customer issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Meet quality standards and stakeholder SLAs.
• Monitor and assess data platform performance and reliability.
• Define and manage the platform upgrade roadmap with the business.
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, including service reviews.
• Coordinate upgrade testing and handle any issues with vendors and partners.
Requirements:
Key skills:
Experience in the Finance sector, (E.g. banking, asset management, insurance or hedge fund) with the majority in an investment environment.
Technical:
• Strong technical knowledge of data management
• Experience querying data
• SQL proficiency
• Data platform support experience
• Power BI reporting and visualisation skills
• Understanding of Azure services
• Knowledge of Finbourne
Personal:
• Excellent communication skills across multiple channels
• Ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical audiences
• Strong collaborator, effective in cross‑functional teams
• Confident stakeholder management
• Well‑organised with the ability to meet deadlines
• Sound commercial judgement
