At bitaksi, we are building the future of mobility with data-driven and AI-powered products. We are looking for a Data Platform Engineer who will design and build scalable data systems, integrate AI/LLM models into production, and empower our teams with reliable Data APIs and infrastructure.

What you'll need:

3+ years of industry experience as a Data Platform Engineer or similar role

Practical experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred; Go is a strong plus)

Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining Data APIs that connect backend and data systems

Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, etc.)

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)

Strong SQL skills, including optimization of complex queries

Hands-on experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL)

Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools, preferably Airflow

Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes (e.g., Redshift, Spark, Snowflake)

Experience with monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

What you'll do:

Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data infrastructure on the cloud

Build and optimize Data APIs that serve analytics, operational, and AI-driven applications

Work closely with Backend Engineers to design robust API contracts and data exchange flows between services

Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and streaming)

Implement data quality, lineage, and observability standards across pipelines

Contribute to shared tooling, best practices, and standards to improve Data Platform Engineering productivity and data accessibility across the company
