Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Data onboarding in data lake environment (on-premise / cloud)

• Improving service lead times by process optimization

• Optimizing efficiency by service automation

• Responsible for operational activities primarily in on-premise (Microsoft SQL server, Oracle database and Talend) and cloud platform 

• Minor Development and Orchestration of data pipelines that handles mass volume

• Monitoring/Error correction the data pipelines, system health in terms of performance and security

• Configure and maintain alerts and take appropriate steps

• Automate data pipelines for improved performance

• Maintain data integration from varied sources (SAP, Oracle etc.,)

• Build and maintain services, reports, dashboards based on log analytics

• Collaboration with global stakeholders to understand the requirements and provide cost effective solutions

Educational qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Experience :

• Overall 5+ years of IT experience out of which 3+ years of working experience data engineering toolsets (On-premise/ cloud)

• Experience in data engineering practices with respect to performance, development standards and methodologies

• Good knowledge in handling scripts and programming in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL

• Knowledge of cloud-based data engineering (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric) is a plus.

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Conscious about quality, business value, performance

• Ability to work and collaborate with global teams

Data Engineering (ETL/ELT)

Preferred Skills :

Oracle data engineering

Azure data engineering
