Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategically minded Data Operation Lead to lead our Business Intelligence department. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in data analysis but, more crucially, possess the ability to translate data insights into actionable operational strategies and drive their implementation across the organization. You will be responsible for positioning the BI department as the central “Grand Operations” hub at the company level, driving business growth and efficiency through data.
Key Responsibilities
Data Strategy & Planning: Develop a data operation blueprint aligned with corporate strategic goals, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture and framework.
Insight Translation & Strategy Formulation: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business data to identify growth opportunities and risks, translating them into concrete, measurable operational strategies and action plans.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Implementation Drive: Act as a “Data Translator” and “Strategy Driver,” working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure effective execution and closed-loop feedback for data strategies.
Metric System & Monitoring: Design and refine company-level KPI monitoring systems, establishing business health early-warning mechanisms.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead the Business Intelligence team, mentoring members in business acumen and solution-oriented capabilities.
Data Products & Tools: Drive the planning and adoption of data products like self-service analytics platforms and reporting systems to enhance organizational data utilization efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with at least 2-3 years in team management. Experience in internet or Fintech industries is preferred.
Must have strong hands-on analytics experience for Customer-centric mobile apps, with a solid understanding of the full user lifecycle and growth funnel (acquisition, activation, conversion, retention).
Proficient in data analysis tools (SQL, Python/R), familiar with data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business logic, able to quickly frame data issues as business problems.
Strategic Thinking & Execution Ability: End-to-end capability from analysis to strategy, and from planning to implementation.
