ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking Senior Data Consultants to support and drive the growth of our Data practice, particularly in our Data Analysis / Data Modelling stream. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data & analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.
As a Senior Data Consultant, you will be involved in developing the HK Data Practice capabilities and the broader Global Data Practice to supporting topics such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support delivery of complex data‑related transformation initiatives.
•
Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business and technical requirements.
•
Enhance existing models and ensure they align with enterprise data standards and governance guidelines.
•
Conduct metadata analysis, including naming conventions, definitions, data types, and structural consistency.
• Produce analysis and data‑modeling artefacts for development teams.
• Understand end‑to‑end user journeys to provide business and technical input on solution design.
• Create and enhance logical and physical data models following standards.
• Conduct metadata analysis (naming, definitions, data types, etc.).
• Maintain and govern data models.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
•
8 years+ of data analysis and/or data modeling experience within Financial Services
• Experience or strong understanding of wealth management is highly preferred.
•
Strong financial domain knowledge, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, data mapping, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
•
Solid understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and data governance standards.
•
Strong individual‑contributor skills with experience in SDLC and Agile.
•
Proficient in SQL, MS Office; experience with GCP BigQuery, Erwin, or Visual Paradigm is a plus.
