About the team manager

Tomáš Karas is a senior manager who leads our team of data experts and business intelligence projects. On projects, he works as a data architect and project manager in one and, together with his teams, helps build large data warehouses, or uses data to simplify and automate processes, thus saving our clients 1000 days of boring operational work. When he is not working, you can either see him with the team somewhere after work for a drink, or he takes care of a small home zoo, including two children and about 80 guinea pigs from their family farm.

Job description & summary

As a Data Mesh Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients data architecture frameworks with a strong emphasis on Data Mesh principles. Based in a collaborative team environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining data architecture frameworks that promote decentralized data ownership.
• Implementing Data Mesh concepts to enhance scalability and data accessibility.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Ensuring adherence to modern data governance practices and standards.
• Analyzing data architecture needs and providing strategic recommendations.
• Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate architectural decisions.

Requirement of the role

• University degree
• At least 5 years of experience in data architecture and modeling
• In-depth knowledge of Data Mesh concepts and implementation strategies.
• Proficiency in modern data platforms and governance practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
