We аre looking for an intelligent Data Manager with a strong leadership style and adaptability.

Your influential mission. You will...

• Lead the technical architecture and implementation of a new BI platform, consolidating traditional business intelligence with real-time data and intelligent alerting capabilities.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, including Python/R development, SQL optimization, and data pipeline architecture.
• Oversee data infrastructure leveraging Airflow, Containers, Kafka, InfluxDB, and PostgreSQL while integrating with existing Playtech data structures.
• Drive technical decisions around data warehousing, streaming architecture, and analytics pipelines.
• Establish data quality standards, monitoring frameworks, and best practices across the data lifecycle.
• Work alongside development teams to build a mobile-accessible platform with smart filtering and automated insights.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5 data professionals (Data Scientists and Data Analysts).
• Foster a culture of ownership, independence, and continuous learning within the data team.
• Champion data science and machine learning initiatives to transform raw data into actionable business intelligence.
• Partner with Product and Development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Explore and integrate advanced capabilities, including LLMs and AI-powered insight generation.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure insights drive business value.

Components for success. You...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data roles (Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or Business Intelligence).
• 3+ years of proven experience leading and managing data teams.
• Demonstrated track record of building or significantly improving BI platforms or data products.
• Expert proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Experience with modern data orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).
• Knowledge of containerization and modern deployment practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering stakeholders.

• Being experienced with Kafka, InfluxDB, or time-series databases.
• Having a background in real-time data streaming and processing architectures.
• Possessing hands-on experience building with LLMs or integrating AI/ML capabilities into products.
• Being knowledgeable of vector databases and modern AI architectures.
• Having experience with real-time alerting and monitoring systems.
• Being familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Having a background in the online gambling/gaming industry.
