What You’ll Do

• Maintain and update Bill of Materials based on input from engineering and production teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
• Verify BOM data and communicate updates or corrections to relevant stakeholders
• Create new items in Microsoft Dynamics based on validated input from internal teams
• Validate and compare product and system data, identifying discrepancies and adjusting records accordingly
• Calculate and activate cost prices within Bills of Materials to support accurate product costing
• Manage product configurations within Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring configurations remain aligned with current product data
• Track active BOMs and activate or deactivate them according to production and engineering needs
• Implement and oversee configuration and item changes, ensuring proper execution of large updates or revisions
• Release new or modified items into the system once validation and approvals are completed
• Identify process improvement opportunities within data and configuration workflows and collaborate with peers to improve them
• Document processes, changes, and improvements to ensure clarity and consistency across teams


Requirements:
What You’ll Need

• Experience working with Bill of Materials, configuration management, or product data management in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate complex datasets
• Experience managing product configurations, items, and engineering changes
• Understanding of cost calculation within Bills of Materials
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams
• Strong documentation and process improvement mindset
• Structured and organized approach to managing technical data
