Key role objectives

Responsibility

Work as part of a small team in design and implementation of various components in SRP

Work with business analysts and project managers

Communicate design ideas and take part in peer reviews

Interact with other IT developers who are users of said components

Efficient communications with global team members and other colleagues

Develop and unit test code in a rapid moving and changing environment

Strong design skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Skill and Experience

2 Years of IB experience or 5 years of non-IB working experience

Experience working on large projects and sizeable team.

Experience of being involved in delivering large scale distribute systems

Experience with multi-threaded distributed systems

Experience with messaging systems

Experience with core Java

Experience with C# a bonus

Strong background in data analysis within complex software environments

Capable of describing practical day-to-day analysis techniques used in order to achieve goals

Java Skills

Deep understanding of core Java libraries such as concurrency, collection and networking

Demonstrable Java testing skills (e.g. JUnit or Mockito)

JDBC is a plus

Java2D, JPA, JMS are plus

.NET Skill (not required but a plus)

Understanding of core C# concepts, including collections, concurrency, locking, thread pools

Demonstrable NUnit and C# testing skills

Experience with COM objects and integrating with COM objects is a plus

Experience with Excel Add-ins a plus

Experience with ExcelDNA a plus

Education/Professional Qualifications:

Essential: Undergraduate degree in computer science or similar (e.g. math or EE)

Language Requirements:

Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
