InvestorFlow is the only company of its kind to deliver industry specialized CRM, built on Salesforce, and digital portals to help alternative asset firms find opportunities, create and manage relationships, and turn relationship insights into action with increased productivity and transparency.
We are looking for a senior Data Lead to own the full data lifecycle across our client engagements — from extracting and migrating data out of disparate databases and CRMs, to transforming and loading it into our core platforms (Azure and Salesforce). You will also lead the implementation and management of our productized integrations and oversee the custom integrations running on Talend. This is a hands-on senior role for a practitioner with deep SQL and/or Python skills and real integration experience. Previous team leadership is a plus; we are equally open to strong individual contributors who are ready to grow into that responsibility.
You Will::
• Extract, cleanse, deduplicate, and migrate client data from a wide range of source systems — including relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) — into our target platforms (Azure or Salesforce).
• Design and execute data transformation pipelines that map source data to our proprietary schema, applying business rules, normalization logic, and quality validation.
• Implement and manage InvestorFlow's productized integrations, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth, on-time deployments.
• Own and maintain custom integrations built on Talend, including monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation.
• Evaluate integration requirements and recommend the right tooling — Talend, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or otherwise — based on complexity and client needs.
• Contribute to Snowflake-based transformation workloads, optimizing queries and data flows for performance and efficiency.
• Build reusable ETL templates and frameworks to accelerate future migration and integration engagements.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Engineering, and client teams to gather requirements and deliver accurate, timely results.
• Where applicable, lead or mentor junior data engineers, providing technical direction and reviewing deliverables.
• Stay current on emerging tools and trends in data integration, ETL, and cloud platforms.
You Have::
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL development, and data migration across the full data lifecycle.
• Strong SQL skills — complex queries, stored procedures, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Strong Python proficiency for data transformation, scripting, and automation.
• Proven experience extracting and migrating data from diverse source systems including relational databases and CRMs.
• Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise integration or ETL platform — Talend, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent.
• Deep familiarity with data cleansing, deduplication, and schema mapping techniques.
• Snowflake experience is a strong plus — transformation, query optimization, and pipeline work.
• Previous team leadership or mentorship experience preferred; strong individual contributors eager to grow into this area are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
