Key Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.
• Develop and enforce data quality metrics and policies for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate data-related compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Conduct data assessments and audits to verify adherence to governance policies.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote data governance awareness.
• Provide strategic recommendations for data management improvements across the organization.
• Utilize data governance tools to manage metadata and data lineage effectively.
• Analyze datasets to identify patterns, issues, and opportunities for enhancing data quality.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to align data governance objectives with organizational goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in data governance or data management roles.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
• Experience with data quality management and data stewardship activities.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Proficient in using data governance tools and technologies.
