Required Skills
Job Description
We're looking for a mid-level Data Engineer to join our Paid Media data team and help build the reliable foundation that our Analytics Engineers depend on to do their best work.
You'll be working with data from ad platforms like Meta and Google, ingesting it reliably, keeping it clean, and making sure it lands in a shape that's ready to be modeled and used for campaign performance reporting. Our stack is modern - Dagster, dlt, Redshift and you'll have access to AI-assisted development tools to move faster and smarter.
Job responsibilities
• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines that bring paid media data from sources like Meta, Google Ads, and other ad platforms into our warehouse reliably and cleanly;
• Work closely with Analytics Engineers to make sure data arrives in a shape that's easy to model and trust;
• Help maintain and improve our Dagster setup - scheduling, monitoring, and keeping things running smoothly;
• Contribute to how we use dlt for lightweight, maintainable ingestion;
• Use AI development tools as part of your everyday workflow to speed up building and debugging.
Job requirements
• A few years of experience in data engineering or a similar role;
• Solid Python skills - most of what we build is Python-based;
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud warehouse environment;
• Someone who thinks about data quality and reliability, not just getting data to land;
• Comfortable working closely with Analytics Engineers and understanding what they need from the data layer.
Good to have
• Experience ingesting data from ad platform APIs (Meta, Google Ads, or similar);
• Hands-on experience with Dagster, dlt, or similar modern orchestration and ingestion tools;
• Familiarity with Redshift or other columnar warehouses;
• An interest in how AI tooling is changing the way data teams build.
Our stack
Dagster, dlt, Redshift, GitHub - built around paid media data, with room to grow and improve.
Benefits
• Private health insurance
• Sick leave 100% paid
• Canteen with free meals and drinks
• Flexible working hours
• Additional vacation days after two years in the company
We also provide up-to date equipment, entertainment facilities in a modern office right in the city center and more.
Note: Flexible working hours and occasional work from home options in Better Collective help us achieve proper work-life balance. We strongly believe in the magic of teamwork, though, so we come to the office at least three days a week to keep the team spirits high.
Application deadline
We look forward to hearing from you and accept applications until 20th May.
Please submit your CV and cover letter in PDF; only applications submitted in English will be considered.
Expected start date: as soon as possible.
