Work Assignments

The role requires you to be both a hands-on builder and a point of contact for our clients' data challenges. Specifically, you will:

• Build robust data pipelines and models that streamline the ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data

• Implement and develop modern data platforms through DevOps & CI/CD practices.

• Collaborate with our clients’ engineers, analysts, & business users to solve business issues and ensure lasting value.

You will learn from our many data engineers with 7-20 years experience, while over time taking a mentoring role for our many less experienced engineers.

What You Bring to the Team

Ideally, you have:

• 4-7 years of experience working as a data engineer.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, and/or software development.

• An analytical approach to problem-solving, with a strong interest in how to drive business improvement using data.

• Clear communication skills and the curiosity to engage with clients on projects.

• Experience with some of these technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, dbt, Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• A relevant degree.

• A current base near Copenhagen and fluency in Danish and/or English.

• Assessed the current data landscape in Novonesis and implemented a new self-service framework to enable business users to utilise the power of the modern data stack.
