Job Description
Role Summary
The Strategy, Insights & Performance team at LSEG builds data‑driven solutions that support Group‑wide business objectives by enabling clear, reliable insight.
As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the design and operation of repeatable, reliable data workflows used across Customer Experience (CX) and Transactional Experience (TX) programmes. You will help establish the data architecture that supports customer contact data, survey responses, dashboards, and downstream analytics.
This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable and auditable data pipelines that consolidate CX‑relevant data from multiple enterprise sources into clean, enriched, and analysis‑ready datasets. You will also help define secure data‑access approaches, identify trusted “golden” data sources and keys, and support a shared data context layer for RIA initiatives, including AI‑enabled projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Work with internal and external teams to design and deliver effective data solutions.
• Support the integration of data from multiple enterprise sources to enable a more complete view of LSEG product users, activity, and related attributes.
• Design, build, and automate data workflows that capture customer lifecycle stages and key journey elements.
• Help establish reliable, scalable, and auditable data pipelines for CX surveys, dashboards, and analytics use cases.
• Contribute to the transformation of complex datasets into clear, well‑structured, and consumable outputs.
• Share insights and findings in accessible ways that support decision‑making and business outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, with exposure to customer or CX‑related datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience supporting data consumption through visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, such as Snowflake.
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources and help prepare it for business and analytics use cases.
• Attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and reliability.
You do not need to meet every requirement to apply.
If this role sounds interesting to you, we encourage you to apply and start a conversation.
Nice to Have
• Experience building customer‑centric data pipelines that integrate digital, CRM, service, or marketing data.
• Understanding of data‑quality practices, validation approaches, and reliability controls.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data lakes, and large‑scale analytics environments.
• Exposure to preparing data for downstream analytics, dashboards, or AI / ML use cases.
• Awareness of data‑governance, privacy, and security considerations for customer data.
• Experience working collaboratively with analytics, CX, marketing, or product teams.
• A pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach, with an emphasis on documentation and self‑service analytics.
What You’ll Get in Return
• Support for learning, development, and long‑term career growth.
• Opportunities to work with people across a wide range of teams and disciplines.
• Exposure to modern data platforms, tools, and ways of working.
• A supportive environment where different perspectives are valued.
• An inclusive workplace that encourages collaboration and wellbeing.
