Data Engineer (all genders)

What you will do:
• You design and develop complex ETL processes and technically scalable solutions for database applications in an agile environment
• You are involved in all areas related to databases – from defining the architecture to migrations, maintenance, and administration
• You implement new or extend existing architectural components in AWS that are required for data processing
• You support the team in building a scalable Data Warehouse / Data Lake architecture

Your profile:
• You hold a degree in Computer Science or possess equivalent practical knowledge and experience.
• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer define your professional background
• You have excellent knowledge of Python and at least one other typed programming language; experience with common infrastructure as code frameworks (e.g., CDK, Terraform) is a plus
• You have hands-on experience with SQL, ETL processes, and database design; advanced knowledge in tools such as Spark or comparable frameworks is a plus
• You have several years of experience in the AWS environment (e.g., Athena, DynamoDB, EC2, ECS, EMR, EKS, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, S3)
• Ideally, you have experience in analytics and reporting environments
• You are fluent in English; German and any other additional language is a plus
• You integrate AI into your daily work to move faster, solve problems smarter, and continuously improve outcomes - because this is core to how we scale and innovate as a company
