Project Description

The project focuses on owning the end-to-end data flow for the client’s Data Analytics Platform (DAP). The platform ingests structured data (XML/JSON) into Azure Data Lake, orchestrates transformations using Azure Data Factory, and models curated data in Azure SQL Managed Instance with read-only replicas for reporting.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain ADF pipelines to ingest XML/JSON data into ADLS Gen2, including schema mapping, cleansing, and incremental loads

• Design and optimize data models in Azure SQL Managed Instance (indexes, partitioning, read-only replicas)

• Configure and test backup, geo-replication, and disaster recovery strategies (RPO/RTO)

• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines

• Provision and support datasets for self-service BI and reporting

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimization dashboards

• Continuously tune platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building data solutions on Microsoft Azure

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with ADLS Gen2 and Azure Data Factory (ADF v2)

• Expert-level T-SQL skills and performance tuning on Azure SQL Managed Instance or SQL Server

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD

• Proven experience with backup, geo-replication, and disaster recovery in Azure

• Strong understanding of Azure security fundamentals

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics

• English level: B1+ (Intermediate) or higher
