Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Data Engineer (AEOI) Sage 2 to support delivery within the AEOI programme space. Demand across AEOI projects including Pillar R7, ETR Exchange, NTJ Exchange and CRS Outbound Exchange is increasing, requiring the expansion of existing teams and the stand-up of an additional team. The role will focus on development within Talend and Oracle RDS systems, leveraging established Talend frameworks and engineering patterns to deliver secure, scalable and compliant data exchange solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL solutions using Talend within established frameworks and patterns.
• Build and optimise data pipelines supporting AEOI projects including Pillar R7, ETR Exchange, NTJ Exchange and CRS Outbound Exchange.
• Develop, manage and optimise data processes within Oracle RDS databases.
• Implement robust data transformation and validation processes to ensure accuracy, compliance and data integrity.
• Apply ETL best practices using Talend or leverage transferable experience from Pentaho or Informatica.
• Support the expansion of existing teams and contribute to the stand-up of additional delivery teams within the AEOI programme.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure solutions within government environments.
• Support deployment, testing and ongoing maintenance of data engineering solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong experience with ETL tools, preferably Talend; Pentaho or Informatica experience considered transferable.
• Experience working with Oracle RDS databases.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with AWS environments.
• Exposure to GenAI technologies is advantageous.
