ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Collection Specialist to gather, compile, and maintain high-quality data from multiple sources. This role will ensure that nonprofit and educational partner information is accurate, complete, and ready to support outreach, fundraising, and workplace giving initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and extract data from websites, directories, and other sources using manual and automated methods

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of gathered data

• Maintain organized records and documentation of data sources and collection processes

• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and support lead generation and analytics efforts

• Follow data privacy and compliance standards strictly

• Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and efficiency

SETUP

• Part-time, 10hrs/week

• Work-from-home setup

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of professional experience, ideally within SaaS environments

• Demonstrated success in previous roles, supported by academic and career achievements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills (e.g., Python/Pandas, Excel Power Query, or similar tools)

• Familiarity with matching techniques such as fuzzy matching, probabilistic linkage, and rule-based logic

• Experience working with CRMs or data warehouses

• Background in data quality, normalization, and data governance best practices
