The University of Auckland is delivering a significant Finance Transformation Programme to implement a new Finance ERP and supporting ecosystem. We are seeking a Data Architect (Digital Solutions Architect) to help shape the data and information architecture that will underpin this new environment.

Reporting to the Solutions Architecture Manager, you will play a key role in designing data models, data flows and shared standards across the finance landscape, spanning the ERP, adjacent finance systems and analytics platforms. You’ll work collaboratively to ensure alignment with our enterprise data principles, integration patterns and architectural guidelines.

• Co-designing data flows between the ERP and systems such as Workday HCM, Student Management, banking, procurement and Snowflake.
• Contributing to data quality and control requirements and providing input into solution design reviews.
• Working with programme teams on data migration and cutover planning, and creating clear documentation, glossaries and artefacts to support consistent use of finance data.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a transformative programme and help create a reliable, well-structured and future focused finance data environment for the University.

Please note this is a full-time (37.5hours/week) fixed-term (24-month) position, with a salary range of $155,000 - $175,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
