Data Architect - 18 Months Contract

As a Data Architect at Müller's Solutions, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable data architectures to support the organization's data management needs. This is a 7-month contract position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define data models, and ensure data integrity and quality. Your expertise in data architecture and database design will be critical in driving the success of data initiatives and delivering high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data architecture designs.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design and implement data integration solutions to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
• Develop and enforce data governance practices and standards.
• Define data quality standards and implement data cleansing and validation processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient and optimized database schemas.
• Ensure data security and privacy by implementing access controls and encryption measures.
• Participate in data migration and integration projects.
• Perform data analysis and create reports and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with expertise in data architecture design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and standards.
• Familiarity with data quality management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and database development.
• Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy measures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
