Data Analytics Consultant

Your Role 

As a Data Analytics Consultant, you will be at the heart of delivering impactful data-driven strategies to our clients. You will collaborate closely with local and international clients to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution. 

You will help deliver actionable data-driven solutions & insights, and present the results in an interactive, easily understandable manner. 

What you will do 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business goals and shape solution blueprints through workshops and mock-ups.  

• Prepare and validate data by mapping, extracting, cleaning, enriching, and performing feature engineering to establish stable datasets for analysis. 

• Design, implement, and automate interactive dashboards and customized reports that cater to specific client requirements using advanced visualization tools. 

• Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and exploratory data investigations to extract actionable insights supporting decision-making. 

• Translate complex technical and analytical findings into clear, understandable presentations for non-technical stakeholders. 

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, applying innovative approaches to enhance service offerings. 

• Provide guidance and support to business users and team members in leveraging data effectively, contributing to a data-driven culture and continuous learning. 

Within Sia, you will 

• Contribute to enhancing Sia’s Data Science and Generative AI offerings through internal training sessions, working groups, and publications. 

• Represent Sia at professional events, actively contributing to thought leadership (articles, white papers, webinars). 

• Support business development by crafting proposals/offers, identifying collaboration opportunities, and nurturing long-term client relationships. 

About You 

You bring: 

• A Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 0–3 years of experience in data analytics or a relevant consulting or industry role. 

• Fluency in Dutch or French, and English. 

• Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach. 

• Experience in clearly communicating and presenting complex ideas to varied audiences. 

• Efficient collaboration with various stakeholders, internally and externally, to gather requirements and support data-driven decisions. 

• Eagerness to work alongside and learn from more experienced colleagues while contributing fresh ideas to team projects. 

• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.

• Interest in applying innovative analytics and AI solutions to drive sustainability and create meaningful business impact. 

Your technical toolkit: 

• Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis. 

• Proficiency with SQL and Microsoft Excel for data manipulation. 

• Familiarity with dashboarding tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. 

• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong plus.
