Position Purpose: 
Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 
• Collect and compile Asset Data from various stations (HIllsdale, Westwood, Haworth) and the plant for upload into the HxGN system, ensuring adherence to hierarchy and naming structures.
• Collaborate with the local DBA on the implementation of QR codes and checklists for fire extinguisher routes at Hackensack and Haworth.
• Document the current and ideal status of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
• May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.
• May be asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and written recommendations to management.
Work Environment:
• Environments vary by internship function from office to field to plant.
• Our aim is to provide tangible industry job experience to each intern.
Education/Experience/Background: 
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Working towards a four year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math or a related major.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
