SOCOTEC VIETNAM is a technical support platform for the SOCOTEC GROUP providing expert services on a range of projects in testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in the construction and infrastructure sectors. Around the globe, more than 15,000 experts in 26 countries across 5 continents deliver professional services in construction, buildings & real estate, infrastructures, environment & safety and certification.

We are currently expanding our IT & SOFTWARE SERVICES team and are looking for a Data Analyst/Power BI Developer to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.

Main Mission

Within the Data & AI Hub, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting and data analysis solutions using Power BI to support business units in their operational and strategic management

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Design and Development

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and Power BI reports tailored to business needs
• Create high-performance and optimized data models (DAX, Power Query)
• Develop Power BI paginated reports
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions on Power BI Service

Analysis and Optimization

• Analyze business requirements and translate requests into reporting solutions
• Optimize the performance of existing reports
• Ensure governance and quality of visualized data
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team on Databricks

Support and Training

• Train and support users in the use of Power BI
• Document developments and create user guides
• Provide technical support and dashboard maintenance

Collaboration

• Work closely with business teams (particularly Finance) and IT

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (3-5 years post-secondary) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Power BI in a professional environment
• Proven experience in data modeling and Power BI report creation

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop (report creation, modeling, DAX, Power Query M, bookmarks)
• Power BI Paginated Reports (creation of paginated reports for printing and export)
• Proficiency in Power BI Service (publishing, workspace management, sharing, security)
• Proficiency in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
• Proficiency in SQL language

Appreciated Technical Skills (Optional)

• Knowledge of Databricks (architecture, notebooks, Power BI integration)
• Knowledge of Finance domain (financial reporting, management indicators, consolidation)
