Who are we hiring?
The Data Analyst will report to the Senior Director Financial Analytics and will be part of a team responsible for design and development of analyses and processes. The Enterprise Data & Analytics team provides analytical services and solutions to the organization's decision-making process, corporate performance management, and clients. This position will meet frequently with management to discuss needs or requirements and translate into intuitive information dashboards and visualization. The manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of analytical frameworks to solve business problems, using statistical models, testing, simulations, and other quantitative methods, with an emphasis on the Ticketing, Premium, and Partnership functions across the MSG companies. This is an opportunity to work closely with a team that has a diverse set of data-oriented skills, to develop solutions with data that spans all of MSG’s business units and includes metrics for the Knicks, Rangers, Rockettes, and concerts held in MSG venues, including the Sphere. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the field of analytics and well versed in all aspects of enterprise-wide analytics architecture including data integration, data modeling, and master data management.
What will you do?
• Analyze CRM data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving customer engagement and revenue generation
• Partner with business stakeholders to define their data needs and to develop solutions
• Collaborate with IT on data integration, cleansing, and enrichment
• Build dashboards and data sources to provide visibility into customer data and activity
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that automate tasks and augment customer records
• Set up processes and tools for proactive data governance and quality assurance and contribute to other data governance initiatives
• Document work processes and activities
What do you need to succeed?
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with SQL to query data efficiently
• Proficiency in Tableau preferred
• Must be curious and have a self-driven enthusiasm for figuring out solutions
• Ability to synthesize numerous data sets to present clear insights to stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and develop various projects at different stages
• Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders with demonstrated experience influencing without authority

Pay Range
$65,000—$100,000 USD
