About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Data Analyst to support LRN’s Commercial Strategy function. This role focuses on analysing data and translating it into clear, structured insights that inform decision-making across pricing, go-to-market strategy, and revenue performance.
You will play a key role in supporting core commercial processes, including price book management, win/loss analysis, and performance tracking, ensuring data is accurate, well-structured, and actionable.
Working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will partner closely with stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Finance, helping to respond to shifting business priorities while maintaining a strong analytical foundation.
Requirements:
What you'll do:
Data Analysis & Insight Development
• Structure, manipulate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability
• Analyse revenue, pricing, pipeline, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and key performance drivers
• Conduct win/loss analysis to understand drivers of deal outcomes, including pricing, product fit, competition, and sales approach
• Own price book analysis and support ongoing updates, ensuring pricing structures are accurate, competitive, and well-governed
• Investigate performance across retention, upsell, churn, and new business acquisition to identify key drivers of growth
• Translate complex datasets into clear, concise summaries and insights to support strategic discussions and decision-making
• Support analysis for key commercial initiatives, including product launches and market assessments
• Build a strong understanding of core commercial metrics and how they link to overall business performance
Stakeholder Support
• Work with Commercial Strategy, Sales, Finance and Product teams to deliver data and analysis for ongoing projects
• Respond to data requests with structured outputs and clear interpretation
• Contribute to presentations and materials for internal stakeholders
Data & Reporting Infrastructure
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Domo, BI platforms)
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of key commercial data
• Help automate and streamline reporting processes
What we're looking for:
• 4+ years in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Business, Data Analytics, or similar) required
• Certifications in relevant tools or methodologies (e.g., Alteryx, Domo, Salesforce, Excel, SQL) are preferred and demonstrate technical competency
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or data-driven environments preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Experience working with commercial or sales data, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in tools such as Domo, Alteryx, and Salesforce
• Ability to structure, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources to generate clear, actionable insights
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to support analysis, research, and workflow efficiency
• Interest in applying emerging technologies to enhance analysis while maintaining accuracy and critical thinking
