Data Analyst (m/w/d) - Tracking Data Solutions - onsite in Hamburg

We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Data Analyst (m/f/d) to become part of our Tracking Data Solutions Team at ABOUT YOU!

The Tracking Data Solutions team is part of the Marketing Intelligence and Technology team, which enables the online marketing of ABOUT YOU to manage over 30 marketing channels across multiple countries by automating the underlying processes and management of external marketing tools. We constantly monitor the correct setup by maintaining automated checks as well as real-time monitoring solutions.

What you will do

• Maintain our end-to-end tracking environment (e.g. in GCP) and its associated data pipelines (e.g., via Airflow) to ensure robust and reliable data availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tracking bugs and data discrepancies, ensuring the highest data quality for analysis and reporting.
• Provide 1st-level support to internal stakeholders, providing expertise and support regarding tracking data and data usage.
• Design, create, and maintain accurate reports, dashboards, and in-depth analyses that translate raw data into actionable insights.
• Drive conceptual work, defining both the business and technical requirements for new tracking features and implementations.
• Document tracking requirements and their technical implementation (e.g., via JSON Schema) to ensure clarity and consistency across the organization

Who you are

• Advanced SQL/GBQ skills and strong experience analyzing large datasets.
• Deep understanding of e-commerce KPIs, funnel analysis, and scalable tracking data infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with web and app analytics, tracking data, and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker Studio).
• Affinity for programming (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python) and applying it to data-related use cases.
• Advanced knowledge of A/B testing and statistical methods for experiment design and interpretation.
• Self-driven, proactive, and pragmatic, with the ability to manage projects end to end and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborative communicator, able to translate business requirements into clear, actionable tracking specifications.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with GA4 and/or Adjust.
• Experience with git, gitlab, airflow and/or dbt is a plus.
• Familiarity with tracking documentation formats like JSON Schema.
