Siemens Energy “Digital Products and Solutions” team (DPS) supports all SE Business Areas in their growth of their digital business!

We consult, design and develop tailored solutions for the customer market, based on their specific technical and commercial constraints.

Our second mission is to professionalize, automate and standardize SE software development.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Integral member of Siemens Energy’s Prescriptive Marketing team within Gas Services, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Conduct research and analyze energy market data for the European and Asia Pacific regions to produce data-driven insights.
Integrate relevant data into internal energy market models and databases to benchmark various energy scenarios and enhance model performance.
Utilize data analytics skills to deliver market insights to internal customers.
Contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic work environment, shaping the future of the energy sector.
Access strong professional support and development opportunities while collaborating with a diverse, international team.

What You Bring

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
Up to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with exposure to complex energy market solutions.
Proficient in handling large datasets, including data processing and addressing quality issues such as gaps and outliers.
Strong analytical and visualization skills to identify non-obvious patterns and trends.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and robust code in Python, with experience in SQL and database management.
Excellent communication skills in English, along with a can-do attitude, problem-solving mindset, and familiarity with tools like Tableau, Snowflake, and GitLab (plus experience in optimization techniques and energy market modeling solutions).

About the Team

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization, our Software Application and Engineering department is responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers.

In DPS, our software products already cover a wide range of categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI-assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services, and Professional Services.
