Data Analyst – Financial Modeling (Client-Facing)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong focus on Financial Modeling. This role is heavily model-driven: the majority of the time will be spent building, refining, and maintaining financial models that directly inform strategic client decisions. This is a client-facing role, working closely with CFOs and senior analysts. Accuracy, clarity, and attention to detail are critical, as outputs are delivered directly to clients. Data skills (SQL, Python, BigQuery) are used to scale and optimize financial modeling work, not replace it. The ideal candidate is passionate about financial modeling, adaptable across industries, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time

Key Responsibilities
• Build, refine, and maintain cash flow forecasts, KPI analytics, and operating financial models
• Ensure models are modular, intuitive, and user-friendly for use across multiple clients
• Translate P&L statements, KPIs, and raw financial data into actionable insights and forecasts
• Maintain high accuracy and strong documentation standards in all models
• Deliver financial insights directly to clients with clarity and professionalism
• Collaborate with CFOs and internal analysts to develop strategic recommendations
• Quickly adapt to different industries, business models, and client needs
• Use SQL (preferably Google BigQuery) to extract and analyze datasets
• Apply Python for data processing, automation, and visualization
• Support scalable systems for financial data, KPI tracking, and reporting
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
• Contribute to new dashboards, tools, and approaches that modernize CFO operations
• Approach problems with creativity, analytical rigor, and an entrepreneurial mindset
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong, hands-on expertise in financial modeling (cash flow forecasting, KPI analytics, operating models)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Solid understanding of operating-level finance
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills for modeling
• Fluent English (mandatory)
• High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
• Ability to explain complex financial insights clearly to clients
• Comfortable working on financial modeling daily Nice to Have
• Experience with Google BigQuery or cloud SQL environments
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, or scalable data workflows
• Exposure to GCP
• Experience with B2C / consumer product companies
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, dbt)
• Bilingual candidates (English required)
