Parallel Employment is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Distribution Center team. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to support warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics planning. The role involves collaborating with various departments to identify trends, generate reports, and provide actionable insights that enhance efficiency and decision-making processes within the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Outlook)
• Excel skills should include:
• VLOOKUP (or similar lookup functions)
• Pivot tables
• Basic data organization and reporting
• Beginner-level experience with Python (required)
• Ability to perform basic data manipulation or scripting
• Willingness to further develop skills on the job
• General understanding of hardware and network connections:
• Troubleshooting printers and updating network credentials
• Partnering with the Fulfillment Director to troubleshoot minor or recurring issues with RF scanning devices
• Coordinating with online support teams for issues that cannot be resolved on-site
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
Requirements:
• Preferred / Nice-to-Have Technical Skills
• Exposure to or interest in:
• Excel Macros and/or VBA (Visual Basic)
• Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Education (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer & Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree (e.g., 3–5+ years of relevant hands-on experience with the technical skills listed above)

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and break down data
• Ability to validate, clean, and reconcile data from multiple sources
• Ability to translate data into clear, digestible insights for floor supervisors and operations teams
• Understanding of operational KPIs (inbound, outbound, SLA metrics)
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude toward learning new tools and skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations- and client-focused environment
• Strong problem solver, who prides themselves in figuring things out.
