Who will succeed in this role

We are currently collaborating with a fast-growing, UK-based, AI-powered biometric identity verification company operating at the intersection of AI, security, and digital identity, and we are looking for a Data Analyst to join this journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Analysis: Proactively identify business opportunities and risks; take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them from question to conclusion.
• Elevate Data Culture: Design and maintain scalable dashboards in Looker, ensuring they tell a clear story rather than just displaying numbers.
• Cross-Functional Strategy: Work with Product and Tech to define success metrics for new features before they launch, ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Mentorship & Standards: Act as a technical mentor to junior analysts, conducting code reviews (SQL/Python) and establishing best practices for data visualisation and reporting.

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery and Looker, is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Implementing advanced analytics/machine learning techniques to real-world datasets
• Experience with big data technologies
• Experience with IDE Automation, AI Tooling (Cursor, Claude, Co-Pilot, Vertex, Gemini, etc), LLM integrations applied to Data and BigQuery, and Agentic AI / MCP experience as a plus.
