Data Analyst Conversion

Role Summary

The Data Analyst Conversion will work in conjunction with the central data team, SAP functional leads, and plant stakeholders to support the evaluation and execution of a plan to standardize key SAP data objects. The role focuses on improving data quality, consistency, and usability across the current SAP environment in support of ERP optimization and future system consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the central data team, assist with the evaluation and execution of a plan to standardize key SAP data objects across the enterprise• Analyze existing SAP master and transactional data to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and data quality issues• Support data cleansing, mapping, validation, and remediation activities tied to data standardization efforts• Collaborate with SAP functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales to align data structures with business and process requirements• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency post standardization and conversion• Support mock conversions, testing cycles, and defect resolution related to data changes• Work directly with plant and business users to validate standardized data and confirm operational usability• Document data standards, definitions, rules, mappings, and conversion procedures• Support ongoing data governance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Material Master• Bill of Materials BOM• Vendor Master• Customer Master• MRP Parameters• Sales and Distribution settings• Plant and operational master data

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP data analysis, data conversion, or data migration initiatives• Strong understanding of SAP master data concepts, particularly in manufacturing environments• Experience working with large datasets across multiple plants or business units• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes• Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with plant and business stakeholders• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data issues into business terms

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting ERP optimization or SAP ECC to S4 related initiatives• Experience with manufacturing plant data and operational processes• Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, or FI from a data perspective• Experience supporting data governance or master data management initiatives

Work Environment

• Onsite presence required at Novi, Maumee, or designated manufacturing plants• Collaborative role working with SAP functional consultants, data teams, and business users• Long term program with phased rollouts and extended engagement opportunities
