Duties:

Power BI Development

• Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI
• Build effective data models using DAX and Power Query
• Maintain version control and documentation of dashboards
• Maintain / Troubleshoot existing Power BI reports/dashboards and making necessary arrangements for data refresh as per required frequencies.

      SQL & Data Handling

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with IT/data engineering teams for data availability and access

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with the Analytics Lead and functional SPOCs to understand reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks within sprints or project timelines

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain documentation for all dashboards and data flows
• Follow standardized reporting practices and visual design guidelines
• Contribute to the team’s knowledge base and reusability of templates

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development
• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
• Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data modelling principles
• Strong understanding of data visualization concepts
• Good understanding of relational databases, data cleaning, and transformation techniques
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Language skills in English required.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
• Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems is preferred.
• Power BI certifications are a plus.
• Hands on experience of creating Power Automate workflows would be a plus.
