Let's start with the role

We are seeking an exceptional Data Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing BI & Analytics team at Kaizen Gaming. As we continue our exciting scale-up journey, you will play a crucial role in supporting business growth across multiple departments. Operating within a hub-and-spoke model, you will act as a key bridge between the Data and Business teams, contributing to complex analyses, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive business expansion.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Develop an excellent understanding of the business processes and identify opportunities to generate actionable insights.

• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.

• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data used in analysis and reporting.

• Proactively provide data analytics and insights to the function, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with minimal supervision

• Communicate insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with the rest of the Data tribe to ensure alignment in data visualization, analysis and optimize the flow of information across teams.

• Advocate for a data-driven culture, promoting the value of data across the organization.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field).

• At least 2 years experience in data analysis and reporting.

• Strong SQL skills and Google Workspace (Gsuite) experience.

• Relevant experience with Microsoft Power BI (or other dashboarding tool, such as Tableau) will be considered a plus.

• Experience in Data Manipulation and Data Analysis using Python/Spark will be considered a plus.

• Experience working with Databricks and Genie /AgentBricks will be considered a plus.

• Experience with Data Build Tools (dbt) will be considered as a plus.

• Experience managing stakeholders at various levels.

• Strong analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while aligning with business goals.

• Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences.

• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and identify opportunities with limited supervision.

• High-drive, proactive, can-do attitude, and adaptability to changing business demands.

• Working experience in the betting industry is a strong plus.

• Fluency in English.
