Insight & Analytics is a team building data products for TOMRA Collection. Our users are both internal employees as well as external customers.
We are responsible for processing data from 90000~ reverse vending machines (RVM) globally and providing our users with insights into bottle volumes, uptime, service performance and much more. We work closely together with colleagues from other teams such as supply chain, service, sales & production to provide them with insights & solutions that generates fact-based decisions.
At our headquarters in Asker, we also collaborate with the engineering teams who design our RVM machines. This allows us to influence which data points that exists in our machines.
 
Our cloud data platform runs on technology from vendors such as Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran & Google. We are a small central team which collaborates with data analysts across business units in more than 60 countries.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain data pipelines in DBT
• Ensure that our solutions get adopted in the organization by providing users with training and guidance
• Establish standards and best practices in how we use Power BI across the company
In this role we also would like to see you collaborate closely with our data engineers to build a great end-to-end data architecture, and you would need to stay up to date with the latest data analysis and visualization techniques (of course supported by TOMRA)
What do you bring:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in business / finance, Computer science, Engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building reporting solutions ideally with PowerBI.
• Great SQL skills
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and architecture of data platforms
• Experience with data platforms from one of the large vendors such as Google, Azure, AWS or Snowflake
